Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DayTrak ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

DayTrak is a local-first time tracking web application. The free tier provides full functionality with data stored locally in your browser. The Pro tier (when available) adds multi-device sync and encrypted cloud backup.

3. Your data

All data you create in DayTrak is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if lost. Use the Export Backup feature regularly.

4. Free tier

The free tier of DayTrak is provided as-is, without warranty. It includes all core features: project management, time tracking, pivot tables, evidence and billing, CSV import/export, and backup/restore. The free tier has no usage limits.

5. Pro tier

The Pro tier is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features. Pro purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. A Pro license may be activated on a limited number of devices as specified at the time of purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Share, resell, or redistribute Pro license keys
  • Attempt to circumvent license activation limits

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAYTRAK AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the landing page.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Slovak Republic.
